Princevalle Pet Hospital I've been seeing Dr. Colbert since I moved to Gilroy. She is an excellent diagnostisian and takes great care with the dogs. She spends a lot of time with me explaining the issues and the couse of treatment. I have also seen Dr. Fischer and am similarly impressed with her. Someone else mentioned that the doctors may suggest costly follow-up treatments; that is true if you follow-up in the treatment. Princevalle Pet Hospital Our senior german shepherd became very ill suddenly on a Saturday and Dr. Colbert was extremely thorough during the exam. The prognosis did not seem good but she took the time to evaluate and test and send us to the emergency pet hospital in SJ armed with not only the results but with bags of fluids he would need - it would cost us twice the amount if the emergency hospital supplied it to us. Excellent Pet Hospital I took my dog to be spayed at this clinic. The staff is great. The doctor was really knowledgeable and they take their time to explain to you how to take care of your dog after surgery.
Great Vets and Staff I had to take one of my dogs in for what I thought was a urinary tract infection- it was my first time there and I was very impressed with the level of care. She ended up having a UTI, and the treatment worked. They did suggest some "up sell" type items, but isn't that what businesses do? It's up to us to decide whether we want those items or not. The front desk staff were very friendly, and they all loved on my girl. She almost pulled me in on our follow up visit. Not bad!
Caring for out Pets... not just about the money! I recently took my middle-aged dog, who started having seizures to Princevalle Pet Hospital on the recommendation of a friend. The staff was awesome. Everyone from the Doctors to Vet Techs to front office staff were great. They provided very practical advice, called me with lab results when they said they would and were reasonably priced.
