I first had adnormal cells CIN 1, about 3 years ago. I was told by the doctor ( a man, no one told me I would have a man looking inside my vagina for a colposcopy) he said that no treatment would be offered as it was only mild and my body might clear it. I raised my concerns at the time stating I am on immune supresants due to having crohn's disease, my body clears nothing out. I have since had to have two leetz procedures as I have CIN2. My first birth experience was very positive here last week! My birth sadly didn’t go as planned, as i needed an induction and eventually needed a c section. The Doctors, nurses and staff who carried out my surgery were very calm and overall lovely people to speak with. The atmosphere was very chilled in the operating room, this helped me massively as i was terrified of needing a c section. I would give these guys a million stars if I could. Looked after me when giving birth to my little boy, the care was exceptional. Special shout out to Louise Wright the midwife who is a legend and deserves a pay rise, she was amazing, but all the midwife’s were lovely, didn’t meet a “bad” member of staff. Don’t think you could get better care if you went private. Thanks so much to everyone there! Your a credit to the NHS!

I had my baby in August and the care I received from the midwifery team and doctors was outstanding. The midwives were so attentive and informative all the way throughout as was the consultant care when my labour took an unexpected turn. I cannot thank them enough and so grateful for the care I received.
