Disgusting and shameful service - discharged my pregnant daughter when she was extremely unwell was given four sock bowls and told to go - even the nurse kept apologising for the doctor action- lack of medical staff should not impact the the quality of care to patients- too many patients being sent home without a holistic assessment- theses doctors need to be made accountable for there poor practice and lack of empathy. Bought 9 month old baby with what our GP said was bad dehydration following sickness bug. Waited for hours to see a dr, had to administer fluids in waiting area, only when I got a bit cross and asked how long it would be were we given a bay. Only for us to be given a cup of apple juice and sent home. Contradicting advice by different professionals. Came for my husband he was having chest pain on his right chest and right back, he couldn’t breath properly but after coming here the waiting time is 12hours and from past two hours no body in the waiting area has been called. Seems like there are no doctors i wish we could’ve gone to another a&e where patience’s life is valuable as here there are hardly any nurses and doctors ee can see.
BEWARE THE SCAM of the automatic camera controlled drop-off area. They charge 100 GBP for overstaying by 3 minutes during drop-off, and will not accept lack of wheelchair availability or immediately moving to the paid carpark and paying there as mitigating circumstances. Just wait the estimated 5 hours for an ambulance instead if your patient will survive that long. This is not the fault of the hospital staff, just the "Car Parking Partnership" / "ParkingEye" appointed by the hospital seems to be more about trapping people r... read more
