This place is a total shocker for food. I ordered the T/Bone 400gm ???? small definitely NOT 400grms. The chips were horrible as was the craggy Mushroom sauce. The salad was some sort of pasta with a little bit of tomato lettuce etc. This is one of the worst meals I have attempted to eat in years. I will not be stepping foot in this place again.
Today my girlfriend and I had lunch. We chose the garfish. It was beyond poor. The batter was not cooked through and had a stale taste quite inedible and my plate had oil on it from fish not being drained before plating. Chips looked like they had been recycled and tasted like that as well. My lettuce on my plate was wilted and inedible, we both had a quarter piece of tomato and the pasta salad was very ordinary whilst the coleslaw was chunky and swimming in dressing. Went as a group of friends for a meal here, the food was excellent and wasn’t a long wait! Ange was absolutely incredible and made sure that we all had an enjoyable evening!
We ate here for dinner. Sadly… this was a “never come back to” kinda place… We thought we were being safe by having burgers… one chicken, one steak… and a bottle of Hollicks Chardy… Being honest, the only good thing about the meal was the chips (and even then, we think the salt made them)… We ordered through the QR code, and when, after our garlic bread and mains arrived, and our wine had not come to the table, we asked the table server if she could check on our drinks, she said “thats not my area”.
