I was waiting in line to check in for my appointment when the woman at the front said anyone with appointments first. Even before I could answer she just overlooked at whoever was behind me and asked them. When I said I have an appointment she said you should have spoken up. Her Attitude stank. On my last visit i witnessed a man telling her to fix her attitude while he walked away, i know im. It the only one.
Had my epiretinal membrane peel Victremony operation here yesterday after 4 cancellations. So pleased I'd added Windsor as an alternative to Royal Berkshire Hospital. I was so nervous but everyone single member of staff from thr receptonists to the surgeon that my husband and I met were exceptional. Bella that admitted and discharged me was so warm and kind. Had to visit this eye until today due to a sudden change in my right eye vision. As I checked in, I was told it would be an average 3 hour wait so I resided myself to a long wait on uncomfortable chairs. I really needn't have worried. I was triaged by a nurse within minutes who took time to explain what he was doing. I then waited an hour or so in which time they scanned my eyes and I saw an excellent doctor who gave me a very thorough exam. She really took the time to look at my eye and explain my symptoms. Had an issue with a painful eye. Attended today and was seen within 30 minutes for triage and a further 30 minutes for an examination. All the staff were friendly and welcoming and I left thinking "that was a good experience".
I can't praise the staff enough. Thank you for being so kind to me today. Lady at the reception- amazing. Carly who done triange- amazing. & doctor who checked me over- amazing.
