Faye provided a customized, wonderfully interactive one-on-one hair and makeup lesson giving me a huge boost of confidence to do my own hair and makeup for a special upcoming event. Even though I know nothing about applying makeup, she was very patient in teaching me not only the basics, but a complete walkthrough on how to do my makeup. I got a 1.5 hour makeup lesson with Faye. At my request she taught me a 10-minute every day makeup look, and then with the extra time various options for my eye makeup. She would demonstrate on one half of my face, and then I would try that step on the other half of my face, taking notes as I went. I bought a couple products from her (primer and mineral powder) where it was important to have high quality makeup, and went with drugstore makeup for the rest (she recommended elf and Nyx).
