We always travel to Maine in October for our Anniversary. We have eaten at Primo for the past 3 years to celebrate and have always left there having had a great experience with the wait staff and the food. We ate there on October 21, this time we brought friends with us. We were SO disappointed. The service was terrible and slow, and the fish that my friend and I order was inedible. Dinner was good. Dessert was awful. Ordered special blueberry bread pudding which was like a French toast on berries. Bundt cake was a lava cake. Really disappointed. No hurry to return or recommend
I so badly wanted to love this experience. The farm-to-table model is no easy feat and I love supporting businesses that model it. However, our experience was so disappointing. Upon arrival, we were greated by a hostess that seemingly did not want to be there. We ordered the bread service and had to remind our waitress after we did not receive it after 20 minutes. The food was fine but the service was awful. We got there at 7:30pm and didn’t leave until past 10:30pm because the service was so slow.
