Perfect place to relax and unwind. Enjoyed every aspect of this place and will be returning!
Exquisite service and location. Truly a 5 star experience. We were warmly welcomed with a signature cocktail and I immediately began to relax. Such a beautiful place with great views, but the activities are what makes this place unique. We participated in stargazing in the hotel's own observatory, hiked to overlooks, RTVed on the mountain, and golfed on a course so good the rain didn't matter. If you're just going as a resort, the rooms, dining, and amenities all leave something to be desired when considering the price point. They're good. Just not the elite level you're paying for. But the people are wonderful everywhere you go. The trails right out your door are your dog's dream come true. And the golf is as good as it gets in VA. If you want to eat well, don't skip the smoker at the turn around! Fantastic! Grab lunch there, even if you're not golfing.
