Reviewing on behalf of a client - My husband and I recently stayed at the Primland Resort in Meadows of the Dan, VA, and our experience was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived until the day we checked out, every aspect of our stay was peaceful, relaxing, and exceeded our expectations. Exceptionally designed hilltop mountain lodge surrounded by thousand of pristine private acres and hiking trails. Comfortable, spacious rooms, many with great mountain views. Great housekeeping, friendly free chauffeur service around the preserve in luxurious Jeep Grand Wagoneers. The Ropes Course crew were so professional and kind. Exceptional breakfast service at Leatherflower. Will return when new outdoor pool is complete in the fall for an autumn getaway.
Great place to relax
Primland is a beautiful place, with great amenities. The food in the main restaurant though is average at best; the menu is limited, and it doesn’t change for weeks, no specials. But all of this would still be a good experience if it wasn’t for very significant billing discrepancies. At the check-out the bill had to be adjusted a couple of times, and even 3 days later we still receive new and false charges (“we have problems with our accounting system” we were told). This is not 5 stars, actually it isn’t acceptable at all!
