I was excited to open a Primis account, but evidently the bank wasn’t happy to have me as a customer. They unilaterally decided to close my account. I did nothing but take advantage of services on their website. I have asked repeatedly for someone with authority to call me and discuss why they closed my account. I have been provided with no opportunity to even talk about their reasoning. I post this so just to relate my experiences. I was attracted to move my business account to Primis because of the low / no fee structure. Opening the account was fairly easy. Online access was a but of a pain. From a business perspective here are the positives - No fees: None of the usual fees. No Overdraft, Wire, or Transaction fees - $0.25 back with each debit card purchase - Can deposit checks remotley - 24 hour customer service - Friendly employees There are also several missing components - You cant send ACHs or Wires from the account (a HUGE miss) - You cant use ... read more

Primis Bank allows its customer to be scammed. When you reach out to Primis Bank for assistance and to protect your account, Primis Bank just shrugs its shoulders and says they can't help. Primis Bank could care less about protecting your money and assisting you with your concerns. I highly DO NOT recommend Primis Bank for any services.
Pro: highest interest rate I've ever earned for a checking account with a Visa debit card: 5.10%! Cons: if you have to call them for any reason, you'll wait 30+ minutes just to speak to an offshore call center. I found the ones I've spoken to were not very pleasant. Mobile deposits constantly reject for no reason. Says I didn't meet requirements but everything is filled out correctly!
