We went for an annual checkup and were over-charged. My wife also has had to make countless calls to remind them to send her prescriptions to the pharmacy. Further, neither of us have actually ever seen or spoken to Dr Maw Maw, only a nurse practitioner. The latter claims she takes meticulous notes yet when we follow up on things, which is continuously, the notes related to the calls are never there and the receptionist has to check with her.
This place is seriously the best! I've been having an uncomfortable reaction to something unknown. I've been breaking out in hives for months. Was able to get in to see Dr. Beavers. She really listened, gave some different protocols to try, and a shot. After a couple days, it was no better. I left a message and the wonderful staff called me back and was able to set up an audio visit. After speaking to the doctor again (at 4:45) she asked if I could come in, like now! I love Dr. Shila & Dr. Maw Maw (who is rarely in the office), and feel that they are thorough and genuinely care about me and my health. Getting an appointment generally hasn't been an issue in my 3 years of being a patient here and the staff are friendly. However, I almost always have to follow up paperwork, labwork and prescriptions which has been frustrating. Sadly I’ve been to many Family Practitioners in my lifetime , in various parts of the world, but Dr Maw Maws surgery is the very best I’ve been to. Dr Shaila, Dr Maw Maw , Naveen, Wendy, Meagan,Jazmin and the front desk staff, are simply the best. From the second I walk through the door, where I’m greeted with efficieny ,a courteous greeting and infectious smiles, on my way to the see any of the above for any condition I may have.
