Went here for clearance for a foot surgery. Paid out of pocket with no insurance. I am an admitted smoker so this was a clearance my foot surgeon wanted. However, although the EKG was fine and everything looked good, the vascular doctor wanted additional testing only his ultra sound guy could do. That would require another appointment in a different city at a different location for additional money. And then they wanted a follow up with the doctor, on a Different date, to discuss my results. Dr. Shah helped me avoid unnecessary invasive surgery by first suggesting a CTA that he could look over instead of someone's else's who was too busy to even give me an appointment to discuss. Insurance no need for another cta just run a hose through your arm to your heart to check and maybe put a stint. All signs indicated minimal build up and getting a stint would have not been the right call. Thanks to Dr. Shah Ive managed to avoid that going with his advice and not the insurance company.
