After reasearching the other solar systems and companies in Connecticut I decided not to use Prime because they are not a good value or reputable. They prefer to sell you "required" roofing (age and materials) for which they use use subcontractors for so when issues arise....you are on your own. They use commission only sales people which creates a rushed, grab the money and run attitude. That also creates lots of turnover so you might have to deal with replacement reps mid project. In 2019 I was sold a system through Prime Energy that was going to produce what I was promised. I have questioned on several occasions the under performance and poor install. However was assured that the system was working as intended and install was professionally completed. I have a system that is not producing properly, needs parts replaced to gain optimum performance and hardware loose on the roof. I installed solar on my home in 2022. The installation was smooth, efficient, and very well done. HOWEVER, what I am really impressed by is the customer service. I had and issue with my solar panels in June of 2024 and half of my units were not working. I called prime and within a few days they had a tech out to look at my panels and had them fixed and back up running at full efficency.
