Reaching Out During the flooding of 2010 Primary Health Care staff assisted 275 families at the Grandview Trailer Park. They helped with the medical needs, as well as transported the families to safety and shelter. It was a collaborative effort between PHC and our partners within the Polk County Housing Continuum. Was told on the phone walk ins only and asked if I could get In Quickly during the lunch hour. I was told yes. As I got there I was asked if I had an appointment. Which I was told there were none. And they were booked til 3. There were no patients in the waiting room.
