Worst ER experience ever. The check in people with their rainbow hair were so rude and dismissive. We were told the wait was about an hour when we checked in. LIES. After over an hour we were finally seen by the triage nurse who told us a bunch of people were leaving and they will clean rooms and get us right back. LIES. Not sure how this place can call themselves a children’s hospital. This place is horrible, it could not have been a worse experience. They only care about getting people in and out as quickly as possible.
Tonsillectomy. Outpatient. For Tonsils removed and adenoids removed, you really should go to the Primary children’s in Salt Lake City- not Lehi. I have experience going to both hospitals. I live really close to Primary children’s in Salt Lake but my surgeon’s schedule was a little bit more open in Lehi so I figured why not. Never again. So, I would like to start by saying the ER was amazing. They took great care of my 3 year old. But he had a viral infection that induced asthma. He had a hard time breathing and needed oxygen. They eventually admitted us into the observation section. He needed albuterol every three hours and a steroid twice a day. Half the nurses did not know how to do his albuterol correctly, which delayed and even regressed his recovery.
