My cousin recommended dr Ramez ,3 years ago and he has been my family doctor since. The only thing is that sometimes you have to wait a lot, but I understand that is because he spends a lot of time with his patients. Everytime we do labs, dr Ramez explains everything in detail, every question you have, everything. Till now I haven’t seen any doctor to be so patient explaining everything. I really recommend this doctor for Bay Ridge area.
I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt like this one was worth it. Dr. Ramez has been great — very patient, listens carefully, and actually takes the time to explain what’s going on instead of rushing through appointments. I feel comfortable asking questions, which hasn’t always been the case with other doctors. The office is well run and the staff is friendly too, especially Israe and Dr. Nadia. She is very helpful and caring. Overall, just a really positive experience.
This office is misleading. They visited me without my knowledge and sent me medications, along with a bill to me and a bill to the insurance, without informing me. When I called them, I had a big argument with them and they asked me to pay $200. When I contacted the insurance company, I understood their trick and their fraud. When I called the office again, she said it seems they no longer want the money after I pressured them. This doctor was ok for a few things like a flu shot or antibiotics needed to kick bronchitis. But if you need any kind of longterm care or monthly prescriptions--especially for a child/ teen-- do yourself a favor and find someone else. We live in the same building so it seemed very convenient and I overlooked several red flags like the 90+ minute wait times or the ordering of expensive allergy tests on the first visit for no reason.
