I have been going to Dr. Desai over 15 years and he used to be really good but since his office moved to its own individual practice in Metuchen, the service has deteriorated. The front office staff is totally incompetent of managing the patients, they are simply messengers and do not use common sense. I was left without a medicine refill for over a week while I called and spoke with them 3 times and they knew I had an annual physical coming up the following week. Dr Sagar Dadai gave me the time and attention I needed answering all questions regarding my health.He took his time with me and explained everything. His staff is also very nice and supportive. Would highly recommend.
The doctor is competent, but the office management leaves much to be desired. Appointments are never on time, with waiting times exceeding an hour. The front desk staff is often uninformed and unable to answer questions. After getting blood work done, the follow-up is inadequate. They told me to exercise without informing me that I had high cholesterol and was entering a pre-diabetic state.
Dr. Desai is great but the problem is the girls at desk very unprofessional I call the office and I wasn’t able to get the call with doctor i needed to talk to the doctor and they said doctor donot talk with the patients on call Even I told them that I can call back later but they said no Very upset due to this and very unprofessional people at desk
