This is by far the worst medical experience I’ve had in my life. Expect to wait an hour after your appointment time to be seen and if someone with a later appointment gets there to check in before you, they will be seen first. Expect to call every single day to remind staff to refill a prescription. Expect to have your documents mismanaged and filed incorrectly. Best docters office Docter sheppers has been there through helping caretake my dad when he was here with cancer to helping me and he’s so kind and has been amazing docter everyone there is truly amazing so grateful for primary care Kauai
I would highly suggest finding a different place to establish primary care. We went with them because they could get my father in law in very quickly. Dr Sistoza was a great person. But the front desk people NEVER answer the phone. Emails are NEVER answered and neither are messages on MyChart. I had to physically drive to Lihue to ask a question, schedule an appointment, have them send refills. It was extremely inconvenient while caring for two elderly people. Not accepting new patients and offered no alternate or form of help despite dire circumstances.
Very cold and not offering help. They definitely don’t care about you as a patient, just themselves.
