I saw NP Christine Piercy and she was kind, comforting, attentive, and knowledgeable. She listened to all my concerns and was very emphatic and understanding. She tailored the treatment plan according to my needs. The staff that handled bloodwork and check in were also very nice and friendly! So happy to have found a PCP that care about their patients!
After 5 years with this practice, I can honestly say the quality of care changed significantly after Dr. Meetali Patel joined the office. Before that, the nurses and doctors were caring, responsive, and proactive. Unfortunately, my experience with Dr. Patel has been the opposite. There has been little to no follow-up regarding important medical issues unless I personally call repeatedly and manage everything myself — not only for me, but also for my two elderly parents who are patients here. Dr. Shakir is the most thorough, kind, and compassionate doctor I’ve ever had. I’m so grateful to have been referred to her.
I asked for a referral to a cardiologist. The staff told me I was stupid and have to come in for them to decide if I need a cardiologist. Ummm- I'm a physician, first and foremost, and second, I have a history of cardiology follow up. This should be a simple click of a button and the ARNP (Cindy Piercy )and practice is frankly negligent for not referring me to regular cardiology follow up to begin with.
