Great, caring staff at Adventist Health in Manzanita. The front desk always greets me with a smile, and they know me by my first name, even though I only have appointments a couple of times a year. My PCP, "Dr. Amy" is outstanding!! She really LISTENS to her patients, and you truly feel like she sees you as a whole person, and not just a list of symptoms and illnesses. I've gotten exceptional care there from day one.
Very disappointing experience at this location. They did not demonstrate trauma-informed care, as they seemed dismissive of my concerns and lacked sensitivity to my needs. Additionally, they did not appear trained in culturally competent care, which made me feel misunderstood. I would not recommend this location to others seeking compassionate and inclusive care
We brought our sick 3 year old here in September 2024 to test for strep throat. We asked if we can cash pay and were told no. After a quick exam we were told our son has a viral infection and they would do a strep test. Nine months later we received a bill for over $800 (after our insurance paid a portion). Upon further investigation we were told it included a Covid test that cost over $700.
