We walked in kind of late at the end of the evening. Our service was a little bit hit and miss but otherwise it was a good visit. A place I always go to when visiting Altoona
Smallest sandwich at any Prim's I have ever visted. Did the new CEO cut meat portions or is "double meat" in Altoona smaller than any regular meat sandwich portion in the Pittsburgh area/greater Pittsburgh area? Look at the review with picture right before mine and 4 or 5 before mine with a picture. Inconsistent meat and much smaller than any other Prim's you will see in Pittsburgh...search it up... Or manager that will respond, is the new "double meat" less than regular meat 7 or 8 months ago?
Unfortunately, this sandwich missed the mark for me. It looked promising, but the bread and filling were both quite dry, making it difficult to enjoy. The portion size was good, but it really needed more sauce or moisture to bring the flavors together.
