I am so grateful I found this place for my son. We have been coming biweekly for about 6 months now, and they never fail to impress me. From the beginning they have cared so much just for the sake of being helpful. We use ESA, and the administration here took the time and effort to get registered as a vendor so my son could come here for speech therapy. I love Prickly Pear! The first time I called, the owner Emily, spent 15 minutes on the phone with me answering questions and being so thorough. Even knowing that I was not currently going to be able to use their services. after that phone call though, I knew I wanted to figure out a way in order for my daughter to attend speech therapy there because of how much Emily cared about our conversation and even my daughter who she hadn’t met yet as well as how knowledgeable and passionate she was about her business. HIGHLY recommend! The speech therapists are knowledgable, great with children, patient, and kind. My 22 month old daughter was instantly drawn to Emily and talked more in her short session with her than I had been able to get her to talk with me. The place is super clean, has a ton of fun things for children to do, and is well structured. Emily taught me so much in the session. I found Prickly Pear about 2 months ago. They were able to put into words what I have been seeing in my son for several years. His symptoms were so hard to describe and pinpoint but they understood him immediately! They gave us interventions to start trying right away. I was really worried my son would struggle but with these interventions, I know we will make great progress! Its just so nice to have people listen to me, understand me and that are also incredible kind and patient with my son. I would HIGHLY recommend them!
My daughter has been working with Julie for a month now. We are so pleased with the progress already and appreciate how kind and patient Julie is, she is Amazing! We also love the age appropriate activities that really motivate my daughter to focus and work on her speech. The office is clean and decorated so nicely. Also, appreciate the reminder text messages before appointments. Highly recommend Prickly Pear Therapy!
