I booked flu vaccines for my parents and specifically requested the flu vaccine for people over 65 years old, confirming that the pharmacy had it in stock. However, on the appointment date, the pharmacy informed me that my parents, being on a visitor visa, were not eligible for the free flu shot and asked me to pay. They did not mention that one of my parents could not receive the flu vaccine specially formulated for people over 65 years old.
