We needed a 2nd estimate on squeaky brakes. They are first come first serve. It just took a long time. The work was completed in a reasonable time, the estimate is what took so long. We had other appointments, so ended up leaving before we got our actual written cost estimate after they verbally told us the price. Nice facility, nice waiting room with lots of cool cars!
OEM battery was cheaper here than the parts store. And they installed, which is more of a pain than it should be in newer cars.
I came in early for a routine oil change and fuel filter service. During the service they replaced the broken plastic clips on the fuel filter with upgraded metal ones at no charge, which I appreciated. When the job was finished, I had to return immediately due to a loss of power, which turned out to be a supposed loose intercooler connection that they failed to catch before handing off my vehicle to me. Buyer Beware: Those of us on the North Olympic Peninsula have few options for Ford dealerships. Port Angeles is the closest one around. I have been a loyal Ford customer for decades and have found this shop to be the worst I have ever had to deal with. The service department is hard to reach, their computerized inventory is often wrong, the employees make a lot of mistakes, and I’ve needlessly driven there twice from Port Townsend because I was given wrong information by the front desk person. During a recent experience in the service department at Price Ford, I received very gracious service from both Eric and Rob P. They both went out of their way to explain and repair a damaged part of my Ford Explorer. Even when I misunderstood the timing of the repair, Eric was kind and respectful to explain. I know that they are very busy there and to know that and still experience such thoughtful service is pretty amazing.
