I have had nothing but great experience at the local LF store. When they're out they are quick to make more bagels for me. The meat I've purchased is always fresh and the employees can't be nicer. Love my local Price Chopper.
Yesterday, I bought a fresh (?) plump, Price Chopper, chicken to bake. About 2 hours into the process, I checked on it and found it sitting in a pan of water (almost to the brim). What the hell! Apparently, It had to have been plumped up with as much water as it would hold. I am not big on chicken but have baked a few and have never seen this before. I had to pour off all the water - otherwise it would have been stewed chicken. If it looks plump - don't buy it!!!
