I was Given this doctor when my other doctor had left the company. I went to do my annual insurance paperwork so I could get my disability. And a week later, they have not sent it in. Nor have they sent it back to me. I’m going to end up losing my disability because of These people. Time to look for a new doctor. not to mention when I called their office they never answer the phone nor did they call me back.

Please save yourself the immeasurable amount of time and headache. Find care elsewhere. Dr. Uvas seems very competent and like a great doctor. Unfortunately his office manager is unprofessional, rude, and incompetent. She told me they would fax my lab request and all I had to do was make an appointment and show up. 8 days later, show up to the lab at my appointment time and they have nothing for me from Dr. Uvas. I'm a past patient of Dr. Uvas. I was assigned to him after I had a BKA in 2017 (below knee amputation) as a follow up. At FIRST I found him kind of abrasive and borderline rude. Example - telling me that he would "fire" me as a patient if I didn't quit smoking (he gave me info on smoking cessation programs, the nerve of him!), basically called me a liar when I said I was taking my diabetic meds as prescribed and ate a great diet while myA1C was a 13 (the audacity of calling a liar, a liar) and in the nicest way possible pre... read more
