By far THE BEST EXPERIENCE!!! I have been getting braids for a few years now. I had micro braids that I couldn't get out on my own & we were stuck in Israel during the Iran war. By the time we got back my braids were locked... in a bad way! 🙃 I was embarrassed & trying to get them out on my own. But my husband (HERO) said I'm making an appointment for (son) to get locks done & you are going too! Lol I was not thrilled & said I'm probably just gonna have to shave it off! Pretty Braids Of Africa is the best hair salon in Macon Georgia...I do not care about what anyone else says out of envy and jealousy.... this salon is clean and they know how to do hairstyles absolutely well. I have never looked this beautiful in my whole life and the environment is peace and excellent... I highly recommend this salon to everyone who needs a professional service. The stylist is talented and her braiding is neat. However, my experience was disappointing. I clearly requested medium knotless box braids with fewer rows so my hair could be styled into a low bun for work and I provided a reference photo. I received more rows than requested, added hair that was very stiff and front braids that were styled forward, which I did not ask for. Thank you Ms. Pretty for making me feel beautiful again! I first came to Miss Pretty after my father passed and she was so kind and knowledgeable about what I needed to maintain my hair, at a time when I just wanted to cut it all off! Six months later, just got a fresh braided do and as always, she did amazing as well as gives you the tips and help you need to start anew. Love her!
