I do not recommend putting your pet down at Preston Veterinary Clinic. My experience there was heartbreaking and deeply upsetting. After my 19-year-old dog was put to sleep, I picked her up to take her home. At that moment, urine and feces came out of her body. I was shocked and saddened—it felt undignified, and I wished I had been prepared for it. Fantastic vet in Preston, all the staff are wonderful from reception through to nurses and to the bets themselves. Im lucky that my pooch is as strong as an Ox so doesn't often go the vet outside of vaccinations, but when she does all the staff do what they can to make everyone comfortable. From an ethical and empathetic standpoint I have to give them the highest praise possible when I rushed my dog to the vet with what I thought was an emergency and they quickly identified there was nothing to worry about and didn't charge ... read more
