I paid $34,000 dollars to get expert valuations and had to pay in full upfront else they would not work. Both Dimity Marshall Associate Director and Greg Rowe, National Director ran away before they had to give expert witness testimony even though they signed the expert witness conduct rules. Dimity was getting married and apparently had no phone and apparently Rowe was in Norway on holiday. Service was professional and timely. The figure within the amount I expected. Having been a valuer myself I understand the pressures lenders place on valuers.
We experienced the services of a valuer, Dimity Lee. Terribly knowledgeable, she was on time to our location appointment and we would secure her services again. Nothing was too much trouble for her and her estimate and valuation was spot on. A credit to her Company for supplying the services of such a gracious and polite young woman.
We had an unfavourable experience with PRP. The lender dispatched an inspector to evaluate the property, but they refused to share the report with us. The valuation was conducted by an individual who seemed ill-equipped for the job, overlooking the new granny flat at the rear. Our research of properties sold online in this area and neighbouring streets indicates a valuation of nearly $300k to $370k higher than what PRP provided.
