I called GP and was on hold for 1 hour and 40 minutes. In that time, I washed the dishes, vacuumed the living room and kitchen, changed my son’s bedsheets, cleaned the toilet, and cooked dinner. All while your magical automated voice kept insisting there was just “one person ahead of me.” Seriously? If this is how you define customer service, you might want to redefine the word service. Shocking and unnecessarily rude receptionist. I don't visit the GP often at all, I have been with this practice for about 17 years. I was in terrible pain and the rudeness and unkindness encountered by the receptionist was very upsetting. His behaviour, tone and manner was completely abhorrent. I'm not going to praise this practice, nor am I going to slag them off. I leave you to make your mind up. Whilst other GP practices in this city keep a number of spaces open to see your GP face to face in the following three days, this practice does not. They have 12,700 patients and ten GPs. Just let that sink in. 12,700 patients and ten GP's. As of this date, 12th Feb 2025 they continue to welcome new patients.
