Went there for warranty repair of a grinding noise. They never looked at that problem. They went on to tell me the strut was rubbing the ball joint. Charged me $200 for that diagnosis. It's impossible for the strut to hit the ball joint. And told me that for the cost of a $25 ball joint they could fix it for $900+. Diagnosis was wrong. It was a bound up sway bar I fixed when I got home. Took me a half hour to fix it. I worked on cars for a living. I only took it there to check on a recall(warranty work). I always take my Kia to Preston for all my maintenance and repairs. They are very attentive and communicate very well. They are efficient and finish on time.
I used to take my Kia Telluride somewhere else for service, but then I switched to Preston Kia and now I won't take it anywhere else. The staff is incredibly friendly and always goes out of their way to do the right thing for their customers. Last year when we were about to take a long road trip I realized at the last minute that we needed brakes and Preston went out of their way to squeeze us in for a same day appointment - replacing the brakes and doing an oil change and tire rotation to get us on the road safely and on ti... read more
