A year ago, they rebuilt my husband's transmission within two days. That's with ordering the parts and everything. We got a one year warranty on it and just before the year was up, the transmission went out again. We took it back on Monday of last week, they said it would be ready on Thursday. I took my 2003 Duramax to Prestege because it was leaking transmission fluid. Melvin changed filters and fluid. I had it towed in because it still leaked. He told me he drove it and it made a lot of noise and went into safe mode, and that the case was cracked, transmission was beyond repair and he would have to replace it with a new one. I asked him why he had driven it when it was low on fluid and that was precisely the reason I had it towed in. He didn't answer my question.
