food could be better staff seems nice and helpful place smells clean. Update on this place help is way understaffed and so hard to ever contact anyone. I would never recommend anyone to stay here for my personal experience
My mother was here for her final months. The facility was clean and the accommodations were comfortable. The most impressive part, though, was the staff. They treated her with dignity and respect, and at the very end they set up a private space for me to be with her and kept her very comfortable as she passed. The staff were also very responsive to special requests and made every effort to make this difficult time as palatable as possible. My mother has been in the skilled living facility of Karcher Estates for 1 1/2 years. As a caregiver myself, this place is subpar. My mother has had to wait over an hour to have someone take her to the restroom. She finally called my niece to call the front desk to take her to the restroom. She has two CNA's that are just rude to her. I could go on and on. Please put your family elsewhere. This place is seriously understaffed and not a good choice.
