Prestige Cars sold my partner a car that wasn’t even road-legal, putting her and other road users at serious risk. From day one the car had constant issues—check engine lights, power failures, and electrical problems. Prestige ultimately told her to just ignore it. When the main computer system eventually failed completely, they refused to help and tried to hide behind a flimsy "three-month warranty", completely disregarding NZ consumer protection laws. I bought an EVO X and according to the seller speech, it was a 4.5 grade Japan import but he refuses to present the report or anything which could prove it after the sale was done even though during negotiations he promised to send me the report right after I buy the car. During the price negotiation , Prestige’s owner hired Janssen MBI to cover the car breakdowns for 2 years, but now the WOF has not been approved because Mitsubishi Dealership has found a problem with the light indicator wires and the insurance company doesn... read more
