I have a 2008 chev silverado and over the years have realised it's very difficult to find a mechanic that is knowledgeable with this model vehicle. I had an issue with the cruise control not working properly, hadn't worked properly for years. Took it to a few different mechanics and also auto electricians, all who could not find the issue with it.
