What a joke 2 + hours in ER 2 people before me both seen and left I was told I was next. 2 more people came in and we’re sen I’m still waiting Do yourself a favor go to any hospital but not St Joes!!!!!!
This is not a serious option for an ER. Took my daughter there for an injury. Watched very sick people walk out and/or get ignored or treated rudely by RNs. They took all tests quickly then sent us back to waiting room for over 3 hours to get results, treatment. Waiting room was filthy and uncleaned. They just couldn't handle the ER at all. Find someplace else if you really have an emergency.
My nephew used this hospital and he has not had a complaint yet..... As a matter of fact he is laying in one of the beds now. He could have chose another place but he chose here
This hospital is close to home, but after seeing the outpatient areas run down, dirty carpets, stuffing falling out of ripped up furniture and inefficient admitting computer system.... I think I'm going to plan on going to Silver Cross. The inpatient side is all brand new, but yhe lab & xray waiting rooms look like a 3rd world country.
Do not go. They are out to neglect you until you leave. They seem intent at killing you. I am convinced they could turn a cold into cancer given enough time to neglect. The staff was the absolute worst human beings I have ever met and they are supposed to CARE for someone? I would get better care from SATAN! Average response time for ringing nurse call button was 48 minutes with the lowest being 32. My wife's real doctor at a real hospital had provided instructions on how to approach the patient (my wife) with a pain plan. I... read more
