This place didn't cure me, but I don't think any place would. What I got was the tools and resources I need to make my recovery my own. I'm capable of living a healthy life, now it's up to me to do the work. Everyone was really understanding and compassionate but also kinda mean haha, but it was in a loving way. I know that the Prescott House truly cares about me and the rest of their clients. Of all the treatment centers I've checked in to, this was the most successful and caring of them all. I went to/entered the Prescott House “program” for 1 month and 3 weeks in, let’s call it, the early 2010’s (to avoid reprisal)…and it was EASILY the most toxic, unwelcoming, & nasty environment I’d ever entered. I even contemplated throwing myself in front a car just so that I could POSSIBLY talk to my ailing mother from the hospital (the staff determines who you can talk to and for how long, ALWAYS with someone there to watch you while on the phone!!—and my mom, believe it or not, was NOT an allowed contact for me at that t... read more
I was a client here for three months, and I can not speak highly enough of the Prescott House. My time here was transformational to say the least. I've struggled against active addiction for many, many years and I am so grateful to say that at the P-House, I found recovery and freedom from my addictions for the first time in my life. We are so grateful for Prescott House and the amazing impact they have had on our son, who spent time at the facility for drug and alcohol addiction. The results are now over 9 mos. sober thanks to our son and the amazing team at Prescott House. They are truly a blessing.
This is an amazing facility with competent and professional staff (thanks Chris!) that produced highly effective results for my son! Highly recommend.
