The Prescott House allowed for me to find my true self. I always struggled with self confidence, conflict avoidance, people pleasing and the list goes on. I was extremely resistant at first to going to a residential treatment center and the Prescott House eased those concerns immediately. I stayed recently at Prescott House for the last three months through the gambling program. Therapists Bobby Engel and David oversaw my primary therapy needs and helped develop condusive aftercare and coping mechanisms to ensure success. I have to notably thank all the staff at P. House, Bobby and David specifically for setting me up well and right to come home!
Prescott House was an excellent experience for our family. Having our son in treatment for gambling /addiction was unsettling at first, but the team at Prescott house kept us informed at our son's progress and eased our anxiety. Bobby the gambling counselor was extremely, kind but direct with us and our son. He was knowledgeable as well as instrumental in bringing out coping skills and tools to navigate sober living . Thank you to all the great staff at Prescott House.
I cannot recommend Prescott House enough. As the support person, my experience was different but it was incredible. I was in frequent communication with Bobby (the best therapist!) and he did a fantastic job making sure I was as involved as possible throughout the 90 day program. Went in for treatment for the Gambling program. Bobby was incredible. Best gambling therapist out there. Really hard to find that. I was able to learn an incredible amount and change my life around. To have Bobby as my therapist and be able to relate to him and feel comfortable to open about my life more than ever and be able to grow from that. If you’re struggling with gambling I highly recommend going to Prescott house. One of the most insidious addictions but there is a way out and Bobby is the man to help.
