took my dog to PRESCOTT ANIMAL HOSPITAL WAS QUOTED PRICES ON HER XRAYS ULTRASOUND BLOODWORK PAID THE INVOICE 100.00 TO MUCH CHARGE THEY TRIED TO SNEAK EXTRA CHARGES CALLED THEM ON IT THEY TRIED TO SAY THAT WAS PART OF THE CHARGE WRONG THERE SCAM THEY MAKE U PAY FIRST THEN GIVE U A RECEIPT WHEN U GET OUT IN THE LOBBY. THEY DID GIVE ME THE MONEY BACK ONLY CAUSE DEMANDED IT. WHAT DISONEST PEOPLE DONT EVER GO THERE THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT HOW MUCH MONEY THEY CAN HOSE YOU FOR.
Left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. Two vets with different diagnoses. I was disgusted that they would advertise declawing in their kitten packages. Makes me sick to think about it. I changed vets before any harm could be done.
My 13 month old puppy Kallie was it by a truck on a county road. She was rushed to Prescott Animal Hospital where she was treated by Doctor Gardner. She suffered external wounds and internal bleeding. Doctor Gardner never left her side for over 5 hours. Her dedication and determination to save Kallie is beyond words. She was given medication to stop the internal bleeding and heal her wounds. Doctor Gardner saved Kallie's life. After 5 days Kallie is doing great. She is strong and back to herself. I learned of Dr. Skinner a few years ago and what a fine surgeon and orthopedic vet he was. As it turned out my own dog needed surgery for a large lipoma. The surgery went fine but the aftermath was a disaster with a visit to the animal emergency room in the middle of the night. There were additional costs and worry after this so-called fine surgeon had done his "best". We took our 5 month old Akita to PAH for explosive diarrhea and vomiting. They took our dog into a back room to test for parvo. and came back and said test was negative. Our dog was prescribed a antibiotic and told he had a sensitive stomach . Diarrhea continued and we brought back dog to hospital about 2 weeks later. This time we saw different vet who was seemingly in a hurry. She spent maybe 3-4 minutes examining him and said he had a sensitive stomach recommending no tests or blood work. Very compassionate staff during a difficult time for my family with the loss of a furbaby.
My daughter and I recently brought her French bulldog for a check up & x-rays . The care was outstanding! Jim our technician was absolutely fantastic with her from his gentle voice in speaking to her to the examination he gave her prior to Dr. Dow coming in was so spot on ! Thank you so much to Prescott Animal Hospital and the excellent care given from the moment we walked in from Will at the front desk to Jenn at the check out to receive our Meds for our sweet dog.
