I went to the ER today. It was a very long stay but the staff were clearly doing their best with a ton of patients (some of whom appeared to be quite difficult). Everyone I interacted with was attentive, kind, and efficient. Thank you to Shay: the PA who treated me.
Went to the Kaseman Hospital ER to be seen. The employee at the front desk was extremely rude. I had been having bad headaches, feeling lightheaded (to the point I thought I was going to pass out), disoriented, along with other symptoms. When I was taken back the Nurse Practitioner made me feel bad for even being there, telling me the ER "is a matter of life and limb and I wasn't dying". This review is for the Kaseman Hospice team, as well as the Chaplains that visited our grandmother who was in room 703. On August 11th, 2025 in the afternoon time a Chaplain arrived to meet us. She talked about her experience as a multi-religion learner, and opera singer. She then proceeded to lead us in a prayer and began to sing a hymn to my grandmother. Emergency check in staff was extremely rude and non-accommodating. I believe her name is Alicia or something similar. She was rude and condescending. She lacks people skills and was extremely insensitive to my child’s broken leg. I realize she works in a stressful environment, but I guarantee you it’s much more stressful for the patients visiting.
