My visit to the infusion center today was very pleasant. There is nothing more comforting than a great nurse when you are not well and do not know what to expect. Had an order from our physician sent on a Tuesday morning to the infusion center for a STAT test. Called multiple times that day to express the urgency of the situation. Heard back on Thursday that they could squeeze me in on Friday. I’m no physician, but I know the meaning of STAT isn’t “we’ll get to it in a few days.” Another shining star example of New Mexico healthcare. I’ll pass and head to Phoenix.
