Took my mother to the ER. She is 90. We were there because Mom had a terrible cough and had pain in her stomach. I was asked to not leave the exam room. Not to open the door. I myself was in pain and getting anxious. I had shicatica pain. I opened the door and noticed in another exam room something was going on. There were about 10 people in a room. do NOT, I repeat, do NOT take your eldery relatives here for treatment if you want them to live.
My emergency visit at the espanola hospital was as expected good service they send me for all the test needed to diagnose me. I want to thank Rebecca the nurse that took care of me in the ER . had to spend the night at the hospital all the nurses that took care of me were great a big thanks on taking really good care of me thank you Lory, Alice, rose, lisa, andrea.
The staff, nurses and Drs. were very accommodating and informative. They helped my husband out in a timely manner.
Horrible service. How do you have only 4 people in the ER room and yet it takes over 4 hours to get seen? If you are short staffed let people know BEFORE hand! So we can go to Santa Fe!
