Saw Dr. Mehta in 2019. I was thoroughly impressed with how approachable, accessible, kind, and patient-centered she is. During adolescence my pediatric endocrinologist referred me to Dr. Mehta with very high praise. That’s because she’s one of the best endocrinologists in town, or possibly even the state. I waited 9 months for an appointment scheduled on 12/23/2024. They called that morning to cancel. The doctor was sick. They would call to reschedule. I waited for them to call. Of course, they didn't. When I did attempt to reschedule, they said they could see me this September. Seriously? I have two auto-immune disorders and you're making me wait 18 months to see my doctor? They make it damn near impossible to see a specialist. Literally jump through hoops to make an appointment. A bit ridiculous given the amount of money we pay for health care.
Dr. MEHTA is thorough and the best. I wish I didn't have a lapse in care during covid while I was in another state. I was able to quickly get a referral and get seen by her, and ahe even remembered me.
I incidentally hung up so I hope you get this. The woman who answered the phone was patient & kind to me. She was a real pleasure to talk with her. She's an 11+!! Thank you very much
