I had to wait 6 months to get an appointment then a week before the appointment they called and canceled it and rescheduled Me 3 months later there's an accident in the parking garage a day of the appointment I called at the time of the appointment to let them know I was going to be late because there's an accident I get up there pay for my appointment and then they tell me the doctor won't see me and the next available appointments is in four more months at that point I cursed at them and left. I had a frustrating experience with Dr. Joseph Onyia, that I feel compelled to share. First off, the parking situation around the office is a nightmare. It’s nearly impossible to find a spot, and despite a strict policy of refusing to see patients who arrive even 10 minutes late. This feels incredibly unreasonable, especially when it's not the patient's fault. I drove around all parking lots and structures in the area and had to park far away and walk to the hospital. The front desk receptionist was great, way more empathetic than the doctor, Jia Wu, who told me that my problem wasn’t “bad enough” and said she didn’t know why I was even referred. Was told to just “try mouthwash” and that what my GP had me try wouldn’t have helped anyway. At least my GP listened to my issues and concerns and tried to help rather than just be absolutely dismissive. Can’t believe I took off time from work and paid money for this. What a huge waste.
