For your mental health, do not go to this counseling center. I was a patient here for several months during which I endured trauma due to the negligence of the providers here. I have still have not healed from these horrible experiences.
As someone who has always believed in the power of counseling but who also struggles personally with seeking help, I have found this center to be incredibly sensitive, helpful, and supportive. When I called to make my first appointment, the woman on the phone was very kind and gentle. The billing department will test you patience with each visit. I had to read my credit card number out loud multiple times each visit to complete my payment before being seen, often times eating about 10 minutes of my scheduled time. Then, I receive a bill in November for a visit in early September (I had been in several times since said Sept visit and billing never mentioned it to me in person). Being a patient at PCC I would like to start off by saying the staff is getting less and less. The overall area is old fashioned and could use a update. Some of the new staff is not so friendly. With that being said when I walk in the young lady that’s been with PCC for years has always been so friendly and spoke so softly to me. She always remembers me by name.
