Very sketchy practices.
We were extremely worried about our car. We left it overnight. But when we returned in the morning—what incredible luck! No one had broken into our vehicle, and nothing had been stolen. There are no security cameras and no boom barriers; the three entrances are completely unguarded. The neighborhood is terrible. There is no police presence. If—God forbid—we ever have to visit New Orleans again, we will definitely steer clear of the French Quarter. And we would only stay at a hotel with secured parking. Nothing beats spacious $8 parking (3 hours). However, the area’s definitely a lil sketchy but should be fine during the day. Car left unscathed.
