I’m going through menopause and called for help I was told to get blood work and see what my levels are. Are you serious? And was told to buy an over the counter medication to help with my symptoms. Men should not in women’s healthcare if they are not going to listen
Just a had a great birth experience and can’t recommend the team enough for helping me through my pregnancy and postpartum. I mostly took my appointments at AHN Wexford and while you may meet many different doctors throughout, I found myself heard and that they were providing me best practice care
There is a lack of communication between providers so no one ever knows what is going on with your care. I was a patient for 2 years and most conversations I had involved me retelling my history over and over. I never felt like anyone got to know me and I was just another number for the day and another bill to drop. There is a lack of sympathy and compassion from the staff. I would expect an ob/Gyn office to be prepared to support a patient having a miscarriage but they sadly were not.
