10/10 oh em gee, if you have any troubles go here. i needed a stent placed and had surgery, I had two people specifically who worked on me both named Justin, as well as a super sweet blonde lady who helped me get changed (anesthesia really took my memory on her name) and then my overall doctor Porta. 10/10 the most comforting staff, i had went to an emergency room in praireville prior to this AWFUL however this place was a complete 180 they made everything as easy and comfortable as possible and joked around with me. i hope ... read more
Everyone from the front staff to the doctors have been fantastic. Having a chronic issue is hard but I have received timely treatment and have made changes to my daily routine and diet that has made a huge difference. Don’t hesitate to make an appointment, especially if you’re in your 50’s!

I had a visit with Dr. Ross Cockrell at Baton Rouge General in August 2025. The care I received was excellent, and I have no complaints about Dr. Cockrell himself — he seemed kind, knowledgeable, and compassionate. However, the billing practices of this clinic are deceptive and unethical, and I want other patients to be warned.
