I recently moved and changed jobs, so I needed a new in-network OB for my current pregnancy. (When I began this process, I was 28 weeks along.) A friend of mine recommended Dr. Yen. I went in to the New Lenox location for my ultrasound. I already had multiple pregnancy tests come positive and a confirmation scan at planned parenthood. They billed me for another urine pregnancy test that I didn’t need. Then at ultrasound the midwife said my baby had a heartbeat… switched probes and said it could’ve been positional bc she couldn’t find one. Sent me downstairs where I paid $250 out of pocket for another ultrasound to find out I miscarried. And now I have another bill for $300 and a dead baby

Grateful for their board-certified midwife practice. An alternative to a typical OB doc. Wish this kind of care was more readily available to people everywhere.

For a group that deals with high-risk pregnancies, they have no skill in offering condolences when you miscarry.
