The contractor need serious attitude adjustment. I showed him the bids I received from other contractors and he started to shout at me because those bids were much lower and started to say that I am insulting him by showing him lower bid. Then he demanded money for wasting his time. Definitely won't be recommending him to anyone. I would like to give a 0 star rating! My experience was worse than anyone I have ever dealt with! Mr. Silva talked a good game but when it came to performance, he was definitely substandard. I hired him to build a small deck on my house. The composite decking was like springboards as he didn't put enough support joists. The steps came down onto gravel and even extended a few inches into the street and were not level. I called him on a major beam that had major splits all the way down the length of it. Calvin and his team completed my very difficult fence installation in my backyard. The terrain slope was extremely hard to navigate, yet alone dig the needed post holes. He used premium cedar wood and gate hardware. At the end of every day he made sure the worksite was cleaned up and organized. My neighbors are extremely impressed with the final result. I've just contracted them to come back in the Spring to spray sealant on the new wood. I highly recommend Premier Specialty Builders.
I had a very weird project to get my custom cabinets modified for a larger dishwasher. It wasn't a big job but I wanted a professional to do it. When I talked to Calvin, he said he usually does much bigger jobs than that but then he said "But I don't want to leave you hanging, let's take a look". He came out and took care of everything and did an amazing job! I will definitely be using him when it is time to redo my back deck. Great work. Great guy. Very trustworthy.
