This dr did an emergency gallbladder surgery on me on January 2nd 2015. I ended up in the hospital on December 23rd. I was Renard in the eve of the 24th to go home. The hospital still want site what was wrong with me. This dr sent me for a HIDA scan which the tech said I passed. I checked back into the hospital (St. Johns) Monday morning after my HIDA scab. If you feel the need to be belittled, shamed, and talked down to than go to this guy. I have never had such a rude doctor. I came in for a consult to see if I needed surgery but instead was fat shamed and accused of being an alcoholic because I carry my weight in my belly (don't even drink but a handful of times a year). He said I need to know my limits and was like instead of eating three meals when you go out, eat one... dude I'm not that fat. I had my gallbladder removed 14 years ago by this surgeon. He was very honest about what I could expect if I opted out of surgery, explaining the severity of my condition and the expected progression of disease. He thoroughly explained the removal procedure and what I could expect after surgery. He was very reassuring as I was hesitant at that time to have a surgical removal and he answered all my questions. Dr N. Treated me in 2014 for Cronic Divirticulitis and performed surgery for a sigmoid resection. He was a great doctor he met with my family he consoled them and told my teens call him anytime with questions. The surgery went well I fully recovered and have not had any issues to date in 2021.
Excellent Doctor. Did he save our son's life with an emergency surgery? YES! Did he perform surgery on Christmas Eve? YES! Did he explain everything? YES! Did he follow up after the surgery? YES! Worst doctor I've ever seen! Doesn't answer questions and is arrogant. Avoid!
Explained everything to me and my husband. Performed a technically difficult surgery to remove my septic gallbladder. Postoperatively, he was thorough about homegoing instructions.
