Really frustrating experience today. I scheduled my son’s physical for 5. I got a text today asking if we could come at 4 to accommodate the doctor’s schedule. I said sure. We got there at 4. By 5:20, the office was quiet and I thought we were forgotten. Since leaving my pediatrician in the city to move up to Orange County finding a new pediatrician was not an easy choice. Looking for convenience since I am a full time employee and single mother of two its hard to find a place where they accommodate their schedule for you. I'd rather got to someone who actually KNOWS my children and takes the time with them to address all my concerns. I just had the best experience ever! I requested a refill on the portal a few days ago, it never went through and now it’s the weekend. My son would have had to go without his meds. I called the Poughkeepsie office and Alyssa was sooooo helpful! She looked in to why the portal message wasn’t answered and then made sure a new message was sent to a Dr who was working today. She then followed up with a phone call to let me know that she personally asked the Dr to make sure his medication was called in ASAP. When I call Poughkee... read more
I have never had a worst experience at a children’s doctors office than this one. I would be ashamed to be a manager of this office. The incompetence is serious here. If you care about your child’s well being do no bring them to this place.
